St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, an academic teaching hospital, a major affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, and tertiary care hospital for the Steward network is seeking a board certified Interventional Pulmonologist to fill a clinician-educator position. The position will include directing the medical center’s Interventional Pulmonary service as well as general pulmonary, critical care and eICU shift work, along with substantial teaching responsibilities and opportunities for clinical research. The position is suited for individuals with varied interests and skills in clinical medicine as well as a commitment to medical education and research. The medical center is capable of offering the full array of Interventional Pulmonary procedures including EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, pleuroscopy and bronchial thermoplasty, among others.
The ideal candidate will be suitable for appointment at the Assistant Professor level, and will have demonstrated a track record of excellence in patient care and experience as an educator in academic settings to students, residents, and fellows. He/she will be comfortable and flexible in providing care across multiple settings, including outpatient clinic, the ICU, inpatient pulmonary care, and eICU.
