Steward Health Care, one of the largest fully integrated community care organizations in New England is seeking experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioners/Physician’s Assistants at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, MA.
NP/PAs will work 7 days on, 7 days off, 7a-7p. NP/PAs will be working closely with an experienced physician hospitalist also working 7a-7p.
Nashoba Valley Medical Center emphasizes quality over quantity, and hospitalists can expect to see an acceptable number of patients. As such, you will have time to provide excellent medical care as well as communicate with the patients and their families.
The physician and the NP/PAs will round on the hospitalized patients and see new admissions from the emergency department. The NP/PA will also cover the geri/psych unit for patients with active medical issues and upon admission.
