Steward Health Care is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Gastroenterology at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, MA. The position provides the opportunity to practice general outpatient and inpatient Gastroenterology; procedures are performed on site at the well-equipped GI unit. Call will be shared with 7 other faculty members. Opportunity also exists for an outreach activity at Carney hospital, Dorchester, MA. St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center features a state-of-the-art GI Unit with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures that include ERCP, EUS, endoluminal stenting, Barrett’s endotherapy and other advanced endoscopy procedures, a brand new intensive care unit, excellent sub-specialty support and a busy bariatric surgery program, and an opportunity to teach and supervise medical students, medical residents and gastroenterology fellows. This position features a Faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine commensurate with background and experience.
